The Ottawa Pastoral Care Training Program has been established on the unceded and unsurrendered traditional land of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg. We recognize the contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples across this land that we know as Canada; we give thanks for their role as caretakers of the land, their nurturing of our cultures and building up our relations. We acknowledge the work we all must do to live in truth and strive for reconciliation, honouring our common humanity and worth.
